Mir reentry on Friday morning
Space station Mir will provide a spectacular celestial event as it finishes a 15-year service this Friday morning, according to the current schedule. Much of the station will be burnt to vapour as it is guided down from its original orbit 228 km above Earth surface. The remaining debris will hit Pacific Ocean around 6 am GMT. Afterwards, video footage will be available at the event homepage.
